I saw the Ghetto Lighting assignment on Digital Photography School site on 1/13/2008. Here is the shot that I came up wtih for the assignment. I used the all weather radios own light and a cosmetic mirror to reflect the light back on the subject.
Thats a smart way of getting the light done. Wonder who helped u to hold the mirror?

I had my camera on a tripod and used the cameras settings to have it automatically take the picture 3 seconds after depressing the shutter. That way I was able to make sure that I would not cause any shake to the camera while holding the mirror in my other hand.

Beautiful shot! The deep, rich blues and the perfect reflection of the light really draw me into this shot. I'll have to check out the assignments on Digital Photography School site. Sounds like it may encourage one to think (and look and shoot) outside the box. Thanks for the inspiration and cool shot!
