Ford 601 Workmaster This is the old Ford I was brush hogging with back in 2005 when the the front wheel bumped something, subsequently snapping the wheel around while also snapping my arm. I was using a spinner on the wheel, which has since been removed. Let's just say it hurt.
The tractor is still around and luckily so is my arm.

Beautiful landscape in the background behind this old war horse. Nice shot of the break, as well. No question that that baby was broken!

Yikes, scary tale! We own an antique Ford 8N for our pastures. Glad the arm is okay. I like this one in b/w. It adds to the vintage feel!

Ouch! that sounds painfull! glad to hear your arms ok. This reminds me of a tractor my grandad in Ireland used to have, a great shot in a fantastic setting.

Thanks everyone for the comments. My advice; don't use a spinner knob on an old tractor steering wheel. Even the broken arm has not stopped my enjoyment of getting on the old tractor. Although the father-in-laws new air-conditioned cab John Deere with power steering is a nice alternative at times.
