Great composition! I also wonder how it would look like if the chair would be more separated from the closet.

@Illuci: Thanks. That might not be bad, although this extra chair is for use at the dining room table when the leaf is put in. In this shot it is in its normal spot next to the corner china cabinet awaiting its next use.
Great shot, Bonj. Love the deep, dark starkness you've captured with the B&W ... then the eye travels up to that little tease of delicate china and the reflection of the artwork on the wall.

@Ron: Thanks. It was not actually until I uploaded it to the computer that I noticed that I had caught the artwork on the wall. I didn't figure anyone would notice it. Good eye.
Perfect shot for the theme. I like the black and white for this one as it helps the viewer focus on the contrast of the wall and furniture. Great shadows too.

@Tracey: Thanks Tracey. I knew from the start it needed to be black and white. The painted part of the chair is hunter green, which didn't seem as well suited. The shadows are what actually drew me to take this photo in the first place.
