Missouri Capitol Series #5 of 13 Arched Ceiling Reflecting in the Floor.
Wow... beautiful reflections and vaulted archways. Our Capitol really is an impressive structure. Are there areas where you see decay and neglect or is everything as pristine (and well maintained) as your photos suggest?

@Ron: Thanks and yes it is.
As a casual visitor I would say they do a pretty good job keeping it up. If one were in it everyday there might be things one would notice that a casual visitor would not.
Those are some great reflections of the arched vaulting there . . this is clearly a fine building throughout. Hope we get to see some of those paintings, too . .

@Ronnie 2¢: Thanks.
The lighting seemed a bit harsh to me for getting a good shot of the paintings, but I do have one (The Battle of Wilson's Creek) coming up on the 12th.
Impressive reflection.

@alex centrella: Thank you.
What struck me first were the beautiful tones and the archways, but it was the reflections that blew me away. Fantastic capture!

@Melissa W.: Thanks Melissa.
Very clean and crisp capture. Excellent angle to get the lines of the arches and reflection. It reminds me of a building I worked in for 12 years.

@Barbara: Thanks. Sounds like you worked in a neat building.
This is wonderful architecture, gorgeous, very skilfully shot! I love the reflection of the ceiling curbes in the floor!
